Be A Possibility Maker!

Woman uses portable video magnifier to help seeThere is still time for you to be a Possibility Maker for the 3rd Annual Pedaling for Possibilities (P4P) Stationary Bike Race, this  Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1:00-6:00 pm.  Although the bike teams are set for this year; you can still donate right on our IPAT P4P website or send us a check.

Remember 100% of net proceeds from this race go to purchase assistive technology (AT) for people of all ages with disabilities, who can not obtain it from any other source.

Over the last two years, P4P raised over $41,000 and provided AT to over 40 individuals ages 2-99 years old.  Recipients represented 21 counties of North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota! Examples of items funded include: a computer with voice recognition software for someone with no use of their hands; a video magnifier for someone who is blind; communication software for someone who is unable to speak;  an iPod Touch with apps for someone with short term-memory loss; a stair lift for someone with a severe neuro-muscular disorder; and a voice-activated environmental control device to control TV, DVD, radio, fan and lights for a person with severe MS.

Join us to make technology possible! For more information call 1-800-895-4728 or go to IPAT’s Website ndipat.org/pedaling-for-possibilities.
